The Casino does not ALWAYS win.....

Dear Father,

We just came home from Thermo's funeral. There was an envelope taped to the front door. It had a message from some group called Triad. The signature was a triangle with the letters V, R, and P in the corners. It told us that there was a video on the flash drive included in the note that we should watch and then dispose of. The group that sent this claims that they are also working on taking out UMI. I guess they want us all to work together.

We plugged in the video and saw the following:

A video pops up, and depicts a cell with a pink force field around it and part of a hallway, being patrolled by uniformed PTA agents. Casino, stripped of her costume and wearing an orange jumpsuit, her head shaved and wearing electronic binder cuffs, is seated, cross-legged on the floor. Across the bottom of the tape the words "PTA Facility Surveillance Cam 0103, 4:45 a.m." flash intermittently. A few seconds after the image appears, you see the shimmering forms of five Construct Androids appear, three within the force field and two outside it. The two PTA guards immediately swing weapons toward the intruder, and faster that the video can capture the moment, are torn to shreds by the two constructs in the hallway. Casino reacts almost as fast and leaps to her feet, slipping her hands quickly from the binders, which were apparently not holding her very well. She backs to the wall in an instant and faces her three attackers with a grim smile.

"What too you so long, you ugly bastards?"

She spits at them between gritted teeth as they move in with blinding speed for the attack. Casino whirls with almost as much speed, knocking one back with a well placed kick to the chest as the other two simultaneously take hold of her left arm and her kicking foot as she follows through. Her mechanical land from Star Labs manages to grab hold of one of the android's arms, and she twists, bending the metal frame but not breaking it. The video records a sick crackling and gurgling sound as Casino screams in agony, her spine breaking under the force of the constructs' strength. Her android hand flails for another few seconds, grasping vainly at the head of the nearest Construct, then is torn from her body along with most of her arm, as the two constructs rend Casino limb from limb without comment or compunction.

The Constructs pause momentarily, seemingly passing some signal among themselves, then shimmer and disappear. (Editor's note: I received this description of Casino's death from the GM.)

A vast silence hung over the group. I am not fond of Casino, but to watch any human being ripped to pieces is unsettling. The constructs must be stopped. But taking out UMI first is important. Cut off a finger, and the body will attack. We have to remove the head.
